I have been 21 for over a week, but with my rotten luck I was really sick over my birthday and then had some crazy catching up to do, but I finally had my first legal drink on Friday! I went to Jon’s Bar and Grille with some friends, and
and… and
they didn’t even card me.
Figures.
It’s probably best that they didn’t, because I still haven’t gotten my grown-up-ID yet. Actually, I still have my provisional license from when I was 17. Hey, if you don’t have to go to the DMV, why endure that kind of stress?
Anyway, dinner was really good; I would definitely recommend it for the atmosphere and the food if you’re not old enough to drink (here’s the menu). If you are old enough to drink, they have quite the selection of alcohol. The restaurant is on South Street, at 3rd and South; it’s the big corner building with the giant painting of Larry Fine from the Three Stooges on the second story. You’ve all seen it.
Check this place out. It is definitely a good place to grab a meal when you hit up South Street.
